Here’s my selfish picks for March Madness 2025 via @SWTVC. These are my picks and my picks alone and I think only 1 of my final four will make it that far – Arleil Schous, who as we know, was the winner of Last Figure Standing (LFS). I was excited to hear there were 8 Return of the Jedi (ROTJ) figures that made the bracket of 64! It’s my favorite film and I’m looking forward to how they do in the tourney. My final two are both character debut aliens from ROTJ – Shasa Tiel and Yotts Orren. I wrote a recent article about how they and Fozec would be my character debut picks according to stats from the LFS. The latter having their debut in the tournament and, unfortunately, I don’t think they’ll have a Cinderella story and make to the finals and win. I also have the Endor Rebel Commando making it to the final four as they are most wanted troop builder at the moment. When was the last time we had any all new version of any type of rebel trooper? It may have been from TVC 1.0, maybe the Naboo Royal Guard or Rebel Solder (Echo Base Battle Gear). I also put together a prediction bracket where I have the 1 seed beating out the 2 seed in the finals, The Stranger over Wrecker. Arleil Schous could make the upset but I think the younger fandom could keep him from the bat demon upset of the stranger danger.
