As I write this article we embark into day 17 of the Cantina HasLab Crowdfunding Campaign with 15 days to go and we are at 70% funded to the minimum funding goal of 8,000 backers. Embedded below is a portion of the HasLab Analytics dashboard (click here to see the full dashboard) I put together for the Cantina and shows it’s current backer progress including a comparison to the Razor Crest, Ghost, and Giant-Man HasLab campaigns. In speaking with Chris from www.BanthaSkull.com, he mentioned it’s falling a similar campaign and trajectory of Giant-Man. See the Blue and Pink trend lines below, even better, click the HasLabs filter and filter down to just those two.
If my math is correct the Cantina should back on the second to last or third to last day of it’s campaign. Giant-Man didn’t back until the last day of it’s campaign (it needed 10,000 backers) and it went almost 4,000 backers beyond it’s minimum amount needed. HasLabs are averaging around 6,700 backers on the last day and on the last few days ramp up as well. This could bring the campaign total backers to around 15,000 and this could very well cause a frenzy at the very end to push it to 17,000 unlocking all 3 tier figures. However, I will say, I am worried that locking exclusive to the cantina figures behind the tiers could cause many collectors to think this is impossible and not even attempt to back so that 15,000 could be a poor assumption.
Where do you think the final backer amount total will land? Will it hit all tiers? Or will it fall short?
