We can all get passionate about what we want and dig our heels in to only 1 of the categories below but let’s not forget it’s much more than that. Let’s also remember that BOTH Loose and Carded collectors make this line successful (we have polling that backs that up). So while this speaks more so to the 3.75″figures, we must acknowledge packaging is also a key component of the line.
TVC Expression Composition
Overarching composition: 3.75″ figures that meet today’s premium standards, including sculpting, articulation, and paint deco.
Typically, this line consists of figures that fall into one or more of the following categories:
Character Debuts: Characters that have never been made in 3.75″ form before. This may also include debut outfits, such as OWK Series Obi-Wan Kenobi with goggles, Season 1 Greef Karga, etc.
Finish the 96: Definitive versions of the Original 96+ figures from the Kenner line on their respective vintage card backs. Examples that are still missing include Hammerhead, Rebel Commando, Sim Aloo etc.
Definitive Releases: Much-needed updates to figures previously released in other lines or in TVC, which require the latest articulation and sculpting. Examples include Dooku, Jango Fett, Anakin Skywalker, Qui-Gon Jinn, etc.
Smart Repacks: Figures from prior lines that are currently in demand and have acceptable sculpting and articulation. Examples include Giran, Hrchek Kal Fas, Ugnaughts, etc.
As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the disqus comments below.
