Today, Hasbro’s Star Wars Brand Team revealed three TVC figures and pipelined an all new Luke’s Landspeeder which looked so gooOOOOoooooOOOOooood. We finally got to see the all new Hammerhead and he comes with 5 accessories which span every release of the character in 3.75″!!!! He comes with his E-11 blaster from his Kenner figure, his double barrel blaster from his Power of the Force release, and his staff from his The Saga Collection release. He also comes with an extra hand specifically for holding his cantina beverage. While his size and deco may be deluxe, it’s great to see truly deluxe accessories. Let’s hope we see a normal size card at some point to satisfy carded collectors. We got another deluxe offering in the Imperial Armored Commando who comes with 5 accessories including riot shield and baton. We’re also getting a repacked Ponda Baba with Alt card… I’m sorry but there’s plenty of leveraging of other tooling (Count Dooku) that could have given us a more modern and premium release of Ponda Baba, and at the very least, give us a more proportionately sized screen accurate head like the TBS version. We got an updated Return to Tatooine poster where Mr. Stevie hinted at the tracks to the right of Luke Skywalker in an IG post today. Or at least I think he did lol. We’ll just have to stay tuned.
